Amalia Mas is a Spanish painter who has used several techniques for her artistic creation. With a solid academic training (she was graduated in Fine Art from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (1985 - 1990)- she has allways looked for new and different ways of expression, what led her to study in the Pottery School of Manises (1993 - 1995).
At the begining of her artistic carreer, she entered different art competitions and obtained several awards and recognitions:

1988.- Premio de Pintura “Ciudad de Segorbe”.
1988.- Finalista en el Primer Concurso de Pintura “Alfa Romeo”.
1989.- XIV Salón de Primavera de la Caja de Ahorros de Valencia.
1990.- Mención Especial del Jurado en el XLVII Concurso Nacional de Arte “José Camarón”.

From 1999 to 2002, she combined her artistic creation with teaching in her studio.
For the last years she has shown paintings in several exhibitions in different Spanish cities.
Nowadays she devotes exclusively to her work.
